Summary of Position/ 职位描述 Candidates are responsible for project leadership and engineering activities related to the mechanical and electrical design, development, and manufacture of electrical indoor switchgear products used in medium voltage electrical power distribution systems. These products are designed and manufactured by Cooper Nature (Ningbo) Electric Co., LTD, a joint venture with Cooper Power Systems, a division of Cooper Industries. The products are manufactured for sale in China and export to IEC markets throughout the world. The Cooper Nature Engineering team is part of Cooper Power Systems’ global switchgear engineering team with offices in South Milwaukee, WI, USA and Pudong, Shanghai, China. This position is responsible for / 工作职责: -Managing projects using corporate project management procedures to develop mechanical and electrical systems, subsystems, and components for a new generations of the Global Distribution Switchgear products -Managing global and cross functional project teams to complete projects on time and on budget that exceed quality expectations. -Drives creativity and innovation in development and implementation of technology roadmaps and platforms to be incorporated into the multi generational switchgear product roadmaps -Always focus on delighting the customer – product reliability and life cycle cost -Identifies risks and mitigation plans, and carries out changes to plans if necessary to ensure that targets are achieved -Effectively collaborates within the global engineering team and other cross functional teams including Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Marketing -Champion the integration and execution of corporate project management procedures. Complete global training programs and lead local training initiatives to continuously grow capabilities of the local teams. Experience And Training Required To Perform Job: This position requires the following / 任职要求: 1.BS or MS – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 2.Minimum 5 years of project leadership experience with demonstrated track record of projects completed on time and on budget 3.Design for Six Sigma and Lean Principles training, Black Belt certified is a plus 4.Experience designing molded components, stampings, and stored energy mechanisms 5.Knowledge of engineering kinematics and material engineering is a plus 6.Knowledge of power systems and / or industrial automation & controls is a plus 7.Excellence in analytical skills 8.Working knowledge of design for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability 9.Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional environment 10.Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
