| ： Overall Goal: The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for smooth flow of work order at different workstations and to ensure that they are completed well before the customer required date on at least 98% of times with first time yield of 98% and better. He will be responsible for maintaining discipline in the shop floor and ensure all the safety policy of Flowserve is practised in letter and spirit. He takes full control of the shop and will be the custodian to ensure that the company’s assets in the shop namely Men， Machine and the materials are used effectively to get optimum output. Principal Accountabilities: To maximise the output from the shop: 1. Ensure that all the machines are available for production. 2. Constantly look for reducing the wastage – reduction of use of material， reduction of consumption of tools， cutting down the cycle time. 3. Increase throughput in the shop. 4. Production on time and first time yield to be better than 98% 5. Maintain discipline in the shop and ensure that the lost time accident and the doctors case is Zero. 6. Ensure that all machinists on duty observe all safety rules and policies applicable to them. 7. Liaise with the regional office for drawings retrieval， process of operations， tooling and other manufacturing activities. 8. Provide continuous training on manufacturing processes and tooling to the local operations 9. Responsible for all safety， health and environmental guidelines set by the corporate Safety， Health and Environmental Affairs (SHEA) Department and lead the local safety committee. 10. Any other related tasks assigned by the superior. Key Result Areas: 1. Print the pending work orders every morning. 2. Sort by the required date and cell wise. 3. Analyse the load – daily and next five days. 4. Set priorities based on the required date and try to match the capacity available against the demand. 5. If more capacity is required bring up so that outsourcing can be organised. 6. Identify on job training requirement for machinist and cross train them for flexibility. 7. Ensure “0” accident at production area. Requirements 1.Degree in Mechanical Engineering， 2.Minimum 4 years of repairing experience and 2 years of management experiences in mechanical industry， 3.Multinational experiences will be an added advantage， 4.Good in both speaking and writing English.
