A UK company with a representative office in Beijing is seeking to employ highly professional inspector/quality auditor in both Jiaxing or Pinghu area. Working under the direct supervision of our representing office in Beijing and the customer company UK,the successful candidate must have excellent English skills both written and oral and the ability to communicate in professional technical English. Responsibilities Review all products for compliance with guidelines and quality specifications. Provide accurate risk evaluation reports through application of sound quality control procedures. Act as customer‘s quality representative protecting the requirements of the company at all times. Reject unsuitable raw material, parts or product. Work with the supplier on the identification of problems, and to assist with resolution bearing in mind the needs of the customer. Use appropriate tools/measuring equipment and AQL methods to verify the suitability of the product Carry out all duties at designated premises,completing a daily work programme and managing short notice inspections as required. Participate in the continual improvement of working practices as part of a total quality organization. Provide internal and external quality audits as required. Supervision Must be self-motivated and able to provide regular structured reports to both our representing company both in China and UK. Competencies Good working knowledge of ISO 9000:2000 Good working knowledge of AQL sampling standards and procedures Fluent in Written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Analysis and interpretation skills Problem solving abilities and presentation skills. Experience Minimum 3 year experience in an industrial environment, ideally having full practical experience of the construction methods used in the manufacture of the product Quality and Company Audit experience. Ability to audit products,processes and procedures. Technology and Tools Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, knowledge of CAD systems would be an advantage. Proficiency with inspection related tools, digital cameras and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
